Q:  What equipment do I need?

A:  A computer connected to the Internet will be able to display captions as they are produced by the captioner.  The captioner can listen to the speaker via telephone.  The telephone could be a speakerphone, a handheld portable with headset, or a cell phone, depending on your event.  Please Note:  Avoid using phones with "voice-activation." Also, "Executive" phones work well if there's only one person speaking.   Also, with a high-speed Internet connection and proper microphones, sound can be transmitted through the computer instead of a telephone.
